Dunno. I have only seen the one version of a schematic. Which was IIRC, the EL34 one.
I don't know how much they would have decided to change for the 6L6s. Could be a lot of things, or could just be simple stuff in the P.I. and bias circuit.

Since I just got fucked on another Bogner Shiva EL34, there's a lead on a Shiva combo 6L6. Anyone play a 6L6 Shiva, I am really an EL-34 guy, any thoughts on how unhappy I maybe with the 6L6 version. Also, anyone hear of converting the 6L6 to El34? I check Reinholds site, no mention of it there. |

My only experience with the 6L6 incarnation is a guy trying to sell me one, which I passed up at the time because of its 6L6ness.  The couple of Shivas I've known and loved more than just playing them in a guitar store have all been of the EL34 flavor. |

well, we'll see I have a bid on a 1x12 Shiva Combo in flight case, it is 6l6 flavor, but it is cheeps. If I don't like the 6L6ness, (I really am a EL34 girl) and can send it to Reinhold for swappage. Seems like the same map except for trannys. I will have to weight what that would cost, but I have confidence I will be outbid. I will know by noon Eastern time. |
