Dan from this1smyne, he advertiked it on TGP and we traded my DSL and a few bucks for this. 50 watts, EL34's was modded to Master Vol, and a lower output switch, with other mods, but the other mods were returned to stock and just the MAster Vol was left in place. I'm thinking I would like to return to full stock, depending on teh toanz |

AW SHIT MOTHERFUCK GAT DAYUM it'sd fucking sweet when it's cranked the fuck up. Sounds like crappy ass unless you are pushing this fuck. It's the MV mod, just not great sounding until it's gets the main volume at least halfway and the mast full out. Then it kicks in. I can give it a boost with and overdrive so it's breaks up a bit earlier. Cam you would love the Thin Lizzy toanz outta this here fuck. I cranked it for about a half hour ran it through some paces and came back up and my chick had a huge smile on, she said, "that's the one" Sweetest feedback ever as well, somewhat tameable. Great trade on my half. I'm gonna swap some tubes in and out. It has ruby el34s now. a JJ a Fender and a GT in the pre, those will get swapped for Tungsol in v1 and I'll have to see what else I have I know I have some EH, JJ, and assorted 12ax7's meanwhile I shall just

More or less, that's how they tend to work. Old Marshalls, more than other oldmaps, want to be turned way way up. I don't know if it's just 'cause the cleans/edge-of-breakup tones aren't all that compared to Fender or Vox or what the deal is. It's one of those things where that box only has one sound in it, but it's that sound. It has to be at Kill Small Mammals At 50 Yards volume to get there though. Which is okay with me. And why I need to find a practical way to send you your attenuator + boozeahol back (there are single-batch whiskies in that box too; Woodford, George Dickel, etc.) but I am either at work when the poast office is open or asleep on Saturn's Day. It will require some fiddling. I can't help but remember it as I am moving at the end of the month and the box is on top of my Alesis synth. You need it more than I do. |

Also I belive that there is not a master volume mod on this by the 2 channels are just jumpered internally rather than and external jumper. Now with teh thought from Herr Doktor I will need to figure where I want to stereo out the two maps off my petalbored.... |
