Post After playing the Shiva
for so long now, I have a gig tonight with the GnR tribute band, so I'm running the Marshall 6100, there's a reason why the Bogner is so expensive. It fucking sounds so good. Going back to this Marshall after the Shiva is tough on the ears.

It's different with a tribute band though, I'm not trying to get my sound, I'm trying to duplicate Izzy's so I can deal with it.

Didn't Izzy use Mark-series Mesas, if I'm remembering right?

So, y'know, for accuracy's sake... :poke: :plot2:

yes, yes he did, but the audience always thinks of Marshalls with GnR, I am using the 6100 which can sound Mesa-ish (not the EL-34 version)

Also, after last nights gig I'm looking at Slash's Marshall, and realized he is using a Soldano with a velcroed on Marshall emblem......

Funny gig this tribute band thing, people asking to take pictures with them afterwards...... really weird.
