I've already had to replace the handle on it once as it shredded. It's one of the handles that are reinforced with steel and I pretty much leave it on a dolly all the time so that kinda shows the weight

Try trucking my Stereo Chorus around. With Texas Heats in it it tips the scales at a lovely 116 pounds.
That's why I make my bassist carry it when I actually use it.

What the FUCK? That is not far from carrying me around.

The side panels on it are a full inch thick. Crazy how overbuilt the thing is. The transformer is like 5"w x5"dx6"h. It's got a heatsink on the back of it that I'm pretty sure would cool down an atomic explosion. Late 80s/early 90s Peaveys were built like brick shithouses with titanium rebar and floors made from solid granite. It's just not necessary.
