Gots me a Yamaha THR10 for home noodlings. Doubles up handy as a USB interface too as my Forcusrite will be moving to my rehearsal studios soon for real work rather than just being used as a glorified soundcard
Reviews and stuff later.

I find those space heaters to be very interesting. :huzzah:

Clip some clips up if you can. It seems to me to be one more thing that Yamaha has gotten right from what i have hoid so far.

When I had to sell some of my pedals a little while back the d00d at the guitar store plugged into one of those. I had no idea what it was; thought it was a head at first. It sounded very good.

Yamaha is bizarre; they make every damn thing in the whole damn world and yet it's all solid stuff, at least their musicbits.

Except their microphones. Because they don't make microphones.

Subkick is a good point. They won that battle as well. :huzzah:

Okay, okay, I fail- I don't associate them with common live sound/studio microphones.

And  because the Subkick is awesome, having used one repeatedly. They really did win that battle. I just compress/gate the fuck out of it and it's a built-in 808 at that point. I'd rather have that than a regular front-of-kick mic. More useful for my sorts of rawks.

I'll endeavour to get some clips done once I've sat down with it properly and made some patches with it. Its a crazy beast. The low gain and crunch tones are pretty awesome! It has a tenancy to be a bit bright but I'm putting that down to my strat which is my only home fiddle worth playing right now.
