Peavey Bravo 112. 25 watts, but loud as hell. My drummer is a mutant and the clean has a little crunch at that volume but its perfectly useable. The dirt channel goes from cleanish to solid thrash with a boost. All toob but I saw one for 80 bucks on ebay the other day. |

Cool- old Peaveys have exactly zero hip/cool factor except for perhaps the VTM/Butcher (and that's only to a select few folks, or big Soundgarden fans ) so you can score them cheap. I still haven't gotten around to getting anything yet, but I still have a bit of financial sorting to do. |

I was about to suggest a Sovtek Mig, but it seems they're no longer the cool-cheap amps they used to be. I suppose I'm somewhat stuck in the Olde HCAF days. |
