Well, there's the 5150 but that's always at the practice space at my drummer's house so I am not really rawkin' that. When I'm at home I'm usually playing this Crate practice amp that I think I can actually get to sound pretty decent! It doesn't have a whole lot of gain at all, just about as much as a stock JCM800 or so. I like to max and crank that fucker and it has this almost fuzz-like quality to it. It's fun to riff around on. But up here in Alaska I am both instrument and amp-less. Though I may change that soon... I think I'm gonna get a bass and a shitty little headphone practice amp. We'll see. I don't have a whole ton of time to do much of anything other than work here... 54 hours a week plus a sidejob on weekends equates to a very busy Cameron. And very sleepy Cameron. Rant. |

AC30 with a Blue and a Greenback; I've taken to liking the combination enough that my blown Blue is still sitting in a box under the table in my kitchen. Sold the bass rig. A) 'cause I'm not gigging as a bassist these days and B) I've decided I really do just prefer Ampeg for the kind of noise I want to make. |

As a former Mark IV A user, I like the Mark V. It's a versatility upgrade. No, it's not a drastic tonal change or the holy fukkin' grail- if you didn't like Marks, you're not gonna like this one. But it's the most practically giggable of all of them IMO- it gives you all of what's in that box in the most easily accessible package. |

nice. I've been playing small clubs mostly classic rawk stuff for the past few months and I've used my Bugera v22 and then switched up to my Egnater Rebel 20 with the 2x10 cabs I got. I've been leaning towards the Egnater more lately. I am looking at a Marshall Haze that I can get dirt cheap, I may get that tomorrow. |
