Yr Map GAS List?
Not that I'm GASing hard for any Maps, but if I had to buy to compliment the AC30, I'd get a Super Reverb of my own. Or a Shiva. These are maps I know and . Though what I'd really like before that is a matching 2x12 for the AC30 so I could have the top half stuffed with Blues and the bottom with Greenbacks. Best of both worlds.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
Arg, quite a few things, actually. I want to build an EL34-based AC30ish amp. A stiffer power section, a decent master volume, a couple fiddly bits for more available gain and some minor tonestack jiggery as in my current amp. I want a 5150. I would like to perhaps convert my current 20w voxy homebrew into a 1x12 combo for for a super portable practice and small club amp solution. I want a good quality 4x12. Even a regular boring old 1960 would do what i need. I want to build a better 2x12. Probably G12H30s, or one of those and a V30 or something along those lines. For occasional and novelty use, i would like a 4x10 cab, and also a pair of 15" speakers (that are not blown), for the large cab that currently languishes in the corner of my basement for want of a pair. Motherfucker needs a job or other general income source.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
I would very much like a 5150 II or 6505+.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
Well I want my map back from being modded. Now that TS is back up I can snag Zach's address and send the faceplate on his way. Then ... I will need teh knobs.
After that, as far as maps go the only thing I want is an AC30 and maybe another 2x12 cab.
Outside of the realm of maps on the other hand ...
I have decided not to make my current Tele an Esquire, and instead to go ahead and do it up '72 Custom style and slap a 'bucker (GFS Dream 180) in the neck and most likely replace the bridge pup with a single-size-'bucker.
Then I am going to buy/make my modded-Jazzmaster, or as I shall call it - The Jazzbastard.
I also just ordered my first two pedal kits, a Big Muff Pi and a LPB-2. Should be simple enough for my first builds. After those I will build a Fuzz Factory and a OD (probably something OCDish).
While I am building pedals and guitars I also want to buy a MIDI keyboard/controller.
After all of my boost/od/dist/fuzzes are built I will decide whether or not to build my own modulations, or simply shop around for them. Regardless, I will probably by a Line 6 DL-4.
Once my guitar rig is all squared away I will need a Bass map and cab. I will also probably buy a 5-string J-Bass and tune by 4-string back up to standard, or throw it in an alternate tuning.

AC30 (For epic vintage rockz) Dual Rectifier (For that "SLAB OF FUCKING SOUND" modern rock tone)
I suppose that the Recto would be sort of a "want" in comparison to the AC30.

Honestly, I'm pretty much fine between my Mark IV and the for-all-intents-and-purposes-mine 5150.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
I've heard nice things of them. I have a Rebel 20. I like it. but I have a few amps so I find uses for them all. Right now the Rebel is so small and haz a carrying case so it is the backup for anything

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
I'm still quite happy with my RKII, but since GAS is eternal... 1. Diezel Herbert 2. Splawn Quickrod 3. Prosonic combo 4. 5. Marshall Jubilee 6. Engl Savage 120 I think that would hold me for a while.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
I kind of want to mess around with cheap shit right now. I have my 6505, JSX, and teh newly nabbed for $400 XXX, but I want something that I have to shape a little more to get good tones out of. Like a Gainiac or cheap newer production SS Randall. My arsenal is mostly just set and forget, and frankly, it's boring me. My desire for knob turning never ends.

Re: Yr Map GAS List?
Uhhmm... Yes, you do. A 15 is more than acceptable. A NMV 30 will be uberloud before it breaks up. Though your dirt boxes into a cleanish AC30 are acceptable. (I say this as that's... my rig. )
