 GRRRR - Egnater Rebel 20 cutting out last night at practice makes for a very pissed off tor.  Will change out the preamp tubes.  Playing along just fine then just a sudden drop in drive it would be ok if I cranked up the gain for a bit then it would happen again. I also switched the between the EL34 and 6v6's to see if it was a set of the power tubes but it did the same of both sets of tubes.

Re: GRRRR - Egnater OK, so maybe a faulty cable? I fuksord around with cables, and noticed some scratchy. then I tried to recreate the issue and could not. Took it to the audition yesterday it performed great.

Re: GRRRR - Egnater I've had dumb shit happen with the AC30 like that. Almost invariably it's a cable or a tube or something. It always freaks me out though; I'm afraid I've blown something expensive.

Re: GRRRR - Egnater I need a woman to dominatatrixonomy me. And by that I mean beat the shit out of me. and by that I mean besides my chick. She doesn't hit hard enough.  I am a bit perplexed with this amp. I have all new cables, and used a different guitar, but maybe something was just amiss for that evening. Anyway, yes, this Egnater was not expensive but I don't like issues with my gear.
