I traded out my SR-16 for a Boss PS-5 pitch shifter, harmonizer. I wasn't thinking much of it, might use it might nowe, but realized it does the whammy thing, pitch shift, and does a nice chorusy/detune thing. I don't use chorus much but for 1 or two songs I do and I always do the turn-the-tuning machine-as-quick-as-possible thing for a couple of VH cover for dive bomb effect so this has come in handy on my board. obviously not my piktar but you can get the idea of its possibilities. |

I hope you didn't either! The intelligent harmonizer feature is useful for... harmony leads. Iron Maiden in a box. |

one of the bands does a couple of tunes a harmonizer would work on, or are talking of it, but we have 2 guitarists so, as long as the other one doesn't get THAT drunk we're ok. |

That's all well and good, but do you get any rhythm guitar under it? No. So use the harmonizer! |

I am really happy with this one, I get harmonies, chorus, and whammy dive bombs all in one pedal. I rarely use any of them, but to not have to deal with different pedals and a trem on my fiddle, I am very happy. I didn't use the eye expression yet, maybe over the weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. |

And the expression pedal would control what, pitch? |

yes. From what I've read you can use it as a Whammy. I'm not thinking I will use it for that, especially with an optic eye, more importantly... I CAN DO EEEET |

Getting whammy from an optical sensor is wicked badass. |
