I've owned multiple TC units for guitar and studio effect porpoises. They are generally very good. I like their reverbs and chorus (and I used to hate chorus on my sounds with a passion despite my love of '80s new wave and goth, go figure) If you could score an M-One XL or original G-Major (make sure the rotary encoder for the editor isn't eff'd up) for two bills that would be a better deal though. Re: difference? I like hardware better. I have a better time interacting with it, which I'm sure does contribute. It's not a huge difference, but it's there. Granted, gear quality counts. That gap has been narrowed a metric fucktonne if you buy smarter these days though. |
