Acquired a TC Electronic Powercore card out of an old dual-core Mac tower. Don't know what it's running or if I can even get it to work, but it is in my possession. Cost me nothing; can't complain.

If I can get it to work, I can run an Access Virus off of it. Which is an okay synth a little.

That is pretty doap. How old was the computer it came from? Is it a PCIe card, or something older than that? |

Hmm... the 'puter is probably 8 years old at this point; it's a pre-Intel Mac. I don't know how old the card is. There was a 24-channel MOTU inyourface card in there as well, which Chris from me band took home. Apparently that works under Windows 7 still, so the stuff can't be that totally dated. He offered to sell said card to the guitarist I occasionally do metalstuff with but He's Already Got One- cue the knight from Monty Python. I don't know if it's PCI or PCIe off the top of my head; I'd have to check TC's site again, but I think it's PCIe. |

Finally got around to installing this. It sees it; whether the plugins work or not, well, that's too soon to say. I re-jiggered my studio and Logic's crashed, but it might just not like syncing my Focusrite to an external clock. Restarted; we'll see. That card has a lot of good-ass plugins loaded on it! |
