The Heliotrope is an awesome pedal. I do believe I've posted it up in the past. You can have one first though. :nods:

Ha! That may be why i had the schematic lying around!

I printed it out, but wasn't labeled as to WTF it was, then i found a copy that was labeled, but could not remember WTF kind of pedlol it was, or why i printed it out.

Then i went looking on the intertwang and youtoobs, and found this video, which caused me to exclaim the title of this thread.

Even though i still don't remember at all, acquiring or printing out the schematic in the first place.

The goldfish memory strikes!

Elephant memory: I believe it would have been around January or February of 2010 on OG Maps, pre-ToneSettings. Right around the time I was figgerin' out what to put on my board, thinking of switching systems (which I still don't have) and living in my old old haus. (Oddly enough, I cannot get away from those white doorframes and hospital-green paint. They wind up everywhere I have lived since. WTF?)

I still want one, and a Devi Ever Hyperion. And should really ask my friend if he's still selling the Mesa MIDI Matrix. That has like fourthousand loops. But I digress. Memory is an acussed thing.

Tangentially speaking of greenpaint, i have a gallon of paint here that my older sister purchased and demanded that i paint some living space in the house in. It is impressively green. It is called something awesome like "Functional Green"(which is more than likely a big part of why she purchased it) and it is almost violently so. Almost like greenscreen color, but without the elements of neonity that that one possesses.

It is boldly awesometerrifying.

I still have to decide what room is gonna get it though.

That is pretty great. Miz Jen and I have a room that is virulently orange, but so far it's just full of stuff we never unpacked and racks to hang our laundry upon. I appropriated the closet 'cause I have a fucklot of clothes.

It's probably fairly subdude compared to Functional Green though.

Snaxodrome II is garish Halloween orange as well.

Post Re: This one is going on the fucking list.
It was only this year that we undid my Violently Orange Kitchen.

My mom, who is wonderfully nuts, decided one day to learn Spanish by watching the telenovas(she would NEVER watch anything like the english-language soap operas, so it was an odd choice from all angles) which also kicked off a general obsession with the mexican culture. Out of this obsession, years back when it came time to destroy the terrible eighties wallpapers and wood paneling of the kitchen at the time, she requested that we refinish it themed as her "mexican kitchen". Which we chose to interpret as: garishly bright colors. It was brutally orange and yellow for probably twelve years or so?

I really enjoy the concept of ridiculously colored walls, i must say. If this house was less cave-like, i would have done up all of it something fucked up. As it is, i generally need the high light reflectivity of the Boring Old Standard White Walls or else, it is just always always dark inside.

Probably my bedroom will wind up Functional Green though, at least. Depending on how i feel at the time, maybe with a Very Glossy Very Red Sort Of Ceiling. Compared to the disaster area that my room currently is, that actually might turn out to be a soothing combination... :red:

It could work. :idk:

My ex and I wanted to paint the master bedroom of my old old haus blindingly red, but alas the landlords weren't cool with that. (Apparently they were cool with hideous hospital green though?) It would have made as much sense as anything else with the Victorian furniture, rack cases re-purposed as furniture, why is there a framed print of Durer's Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse in the bedroom?, etc.

According to the ancient CRT monitor on the Windows workstation I am currently tethered to, a lighter version of #2.

Ha! I love that color.

I derive an unnatural enjoyment of the terrible green tints though, i freely admit.

Seven-odd years of it gets a bit tiring though. Apparently Buffalo decided to stock up on the stuff at some point. And the same doorframes, doorknobs and locks. (Granted these are restored antiques and probably all date from the same time period, which I think would put the three places I've lived in said time at 120-130 years old.) The moulding and the hardwood used for the floors is damn similar too. Really odd.
