:hypno:

I think it sounds pretty good?

Something anyone with Boss pedals and an affinity for tubes has considered. Cool to see it come to life...

I would be very interested to see how this was done...

Impossible for me to tell what is the pedal overdriving and what is the videocamera-plus-youtubecompression overdriving. :idk:

Usually a low plate voltage 12AX7 won't sound that smooth though, so i would guess that it might be somewhat of a split that i am hearing between pedal and camera.

At the very least, if that is roughly how the thing actually sounds, and if it IS a low voltage pedal, then it probably is being driven mostly by some opamp or transistor sorts of biz, methinks(i.e. as is often the case in such things, that the tube is more of a pretty novelty than an integral component to the sound of the pedlol).

:idk:

The playing or the tones? The playing, I get that. I think there should be some default standards for gear clips that include a maximum allowable amount of whiteman-blues and leads. At least the guy here hit some chords.
