Because I of course need more pedals.

I have seen a few pop up for 50-60 on CL lately, including variants (Bass Big Muff; shoulda grabbed that bastard and given it to my bassist for a twenty/booze/smokes for the next few rehearsals)

Does that seem reasonable? I would really like my nasty fuzz to not be the Geiger Counter or Synth Wah- they are wasted in that application as they can create far more fucked-up sounds.

My board now stretches outside my board. All of my band members comment on this last night after we re-arranged our stuff in gigging position (My bassist loved the Silver Machine and its filter insanity.)

$50-60 is good for most EH muffs, IMO. I actually really like the way the current NYC one sounds, also the tone wicker one is solid. And that bassmuff is actually cool for whatever. The Dry Out is a cool bit of jibjab to have.

Noted.

A professional acquaintance had a dry out added to... he busted out two Big Muffs, one was a clone and one was Russian; I think it was the Russian one, both were modded, like a week ago. I commented that would probably be the best bass distortion pedal ever.

I would send you my home-made clone for free, but to be honest you would not want it. My build quality is eh ... well it works :red:

chris knows, he had to fix it due to my shoddy workmanship.

But yeah, I wouldn't pay over $60 for one. Not that they are not worth it, they are, but they are just so damn common the prices have to stay low.

Well happens to be that I'm unloading my Rusky. With my Super T&A fuzz I don't need it. While I have it listed up on TGP for the going rate, I of course would part with it for you for a nominal fee. PM if you would like.

You know a rusky muff might be a nice compliment to the raging-box-o-fuzz that is the geiger counter.

I would like to get into using the Geiger Counter more for what it's really cool at. Like, it is an awesome fuzz. It is wasted in that role, being a bitcrusher, sample rate reducer, filter, ring modulator, signal generator, and myriad other awful things. For how I'm using it live, it might as well be a Metal Zone.
