My trusty Tuna Melt, died. I ordered a Cool Cat trem, because they are so simple, but this came across CL and I got a great price on it.

Will report on my findings. It's here at work, have to take it home and properly make some noise wif it

Oh, hello! That is interesting. Can you have both running at once, or does it switch between the two? (Either is cool; I keep my Pulsar dialed in for one song live and kinda say "screw it, close enough" for any other time I wind up using it. :red: )

it switched between the tow rates, nice, little device though. has a blinking LED to advise you of the rate. it's kind of overkill for me, I only use trem on one song right now, but for general noisery, it does what it says well. It doesn't have a wave shape selection though, but uses a sine wave which it what I use anywho.

Whatzit look like on the inside? :eyebrows: Sine is the bast for musical guitar trems, IMO, unless you go for noisy stuff, then a square can aslo be sweet.

Trems are one of those things that i always think will be interesting to have around, but then i just don't write enough stuff that calls for them. I have one really amplike trem that i DIYed, and then i have the one in the Electrix rackthing that is all fucking bellsandwhistled up. I don't use either in normal playing though. Even on shit that i put trem on, i have wound up VSTing it. :red:

I do want to build something fancy though. No real reason to, because the Electrix is pretty gnar, but i would like to play with the designing of the things a bit anyhow. I am definitely into the extreme fast pseudo-ringmod chopper trem thing too. I would like to fuck with circuits for that for sure.

Very simple on the inside. I will take a piktar for you. One of the rate knobbys can get the rate faster than the other, The instructions inside also have all typed of test points and trim knob information. I will scan this as well for you Chris.

Why is "hand built" in quotes?

Also, is that the whole circuit board? Or is it just a section of it?

I believe that is the whole thing. I opened it initially and it is very small. I will snap pics this weekend and post them up.
