That seems fairly extensive in what it can do. There's a rotary speaker model in the Eventide Modfactor as well, and I suspect that doesn't suck. Those two would be my first guesses as to what would actually come close to doing a proper Leslie sound vs., say, something like a Univibe.

Run it through the Native B4 vst cab? It has been a while since i had it installed, but i seem to recall it being possible to just use the spinning speaker bit of it?

As far as pedals, it depends on what type of leslie sound you want. Some of the fast warbles or stuff that is more like univibe-style, you can get from some chorus pedals even.

The actual spinning speaker wobbletrem is a little more tricky. I haven't tried the one snaxo poasted. The closest i have used was probably the virtual one in B4.

:isay: It really depends on how close you need to get and how much you're willing to spend to get there. I suspect the Boss thing is probably the closest, simply by the level of controls it has. Granted, I don't know how in-depth the Modfactor gets on the rotary controls, and that has the added bonus of giving you just about every other effect (save for 'verb and delay) you could want, and at a very high standard. A Univibe or something along those lines... Is really its own thing; a classic effect in its own right and gets you in the vague general ballpark. You'll almost certainly have to go with a large digital box to get a proper rotary sim though.

I've seen used Modfactors go for $250 shipped, which isn't bad at all considering they're like $400 new.

Damnit I remember reading about a small-time type builder who did a decent rotary speaker modeler in a pedal but I can't fucking remember who made it.

I'll do the google and see if I can figure it out.

I have a Danelectro Rocky Road, which does a surprisingly good job at a rotary, especially for teh cheeps. Does a nice job even without thinking of the price.
