So, I am essentially trying to get a guitar tone (sort of) like this: I feel like what I am hearing is reverb, slapback delay and maybe something else? Which brings me to asking, which reverbs and delays would you dooders recommend? Or other pedals that will make my guitar sound like a childhood memory? Also, I am gonna be buying one of these guys off my friends: |

Rainbow machine seems fantastic, though i dun know wtf i would ever be able to use it for(though that is generally the issue that i wind up with for most fx anyhow). Animal collective seem to be the sort of band that would have a few different delay options around. The internet seems to think that at that point there might have been some rackmount ibanez delay things going on. I dunno.

I am not positive yet exactly what I will use it for either, but I think it's going to really come in handy for what I want to do. Which is essentially to rip off Animal Collective and Tera Melos while playing in AADGBE. My new band Dead Family Dog is just myself and my friend Colin, but our bud Ian is gonna be joining on sampler/synth/bass.Jah, I have scoured the internet about what pedals they've used and whatnot but that info simply does not seem to be out there. |
