Give me some recommendations on a vibe pedal, and a price thereabouts. It's time for me to upgrade, yet I must watch my money spent. |

Check out the Danelectro Cool Cat Vibe. I haven't heard or used it, but the rest of the pedals in the Cool Cat line are excellent(and in some cases copies of boutique stuff) and they also go for like $40 new. ![]() They probably have them in Guitar Center, also. |

Oh. Also, you could check out the Danelectro Chicken Salad. It is one of the older super cheap mini plastic ones. You can find them for less than $30. Lots of folks like them. The only thing is that the little plastic enclosures are pretty low-fi, and cannot take too much abuse. Lots of nerds rehouse the Chicken Salad in normal metal enclosures with better jacks and true bypass. But if you just need a ghetto quick solution, you can get the little fuckers real cheap. And for occasional use, they can do just fine. The Cool Cat ones are a lot more sturdy and nice though, and have proper bypass in them from the getgo.

yeah I have one of the Chicken Salads, I actually need to do a vibraphone type thing, a la Cold Shot, (cover band thing) and I hear the Rocky Road is good for that. Has a ramp up/down button too. I've been actually pretty happy with those little Dano things, but haven't got any of the cool cats yet. I will look into one of those. |

I have been using the Boss tremolo pedal for a while. The simple one, teal with three knobs. It is one of those pedals that I will cuddle and snuggle so lovingly. So cute with the three knobs... ![]() It has a very simple mod (forgot specifics but you basically cut out one capacitor to extend the pedal's range)... Some clips of it in action: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=9094586 < clean guitar pre-chorus http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... ID=8585955 < pre chorus and bridge... I guess I like it for pre choruses. ![]() Does what you'd expect such a pedal to do, no more and no less. Good enough for me... Edit: Are you referring to a pedal that wobbles the pitch, and not a tremolo?

I'm thinking of a Leslie/Vibraphone type effect. I do heart the tremelo's as well. |

How do you plug a guitar into that, anyway? |

You need a goat, 3 medium sized paperclips, and some castor oil. Once you have that, let me know. |

The paperclips I have, the oil I can find... Does it have to be a live goat, or will a slab of goat do? I think I can find it at the one MuslimMart. |

I've only done it with a live goat. Do you have a Scarifices'R'Us nearby? I know there's one in Geneseo.... |

There is an adapter for live sheep, if those are more readily available to you. I also read once you can use a poodle if you tie fake horns to it's head using spider's silk. |

Unfortunately, I do not have any recommendations other than to stay away from the Fulltone Dejavibe. 'Tis lame. |

Well I ended up with a cheap Rocky Road. fun little box it is. There's a boost when it kicks in but there's a real easy mod for that which I will do when I get some time. I will post clips once I get some more of that time.... so now the pedals are arranged as such, TU-2>OCD>Map then the loop is send>CE-3>Phase90>Carbon Copy>Holy Stain>Rocky Road>return I took the Allums SD1 out for a bit, I 'm just out of room on the board. One of the bands is adding Man in the Box to a set so I will need to fake the talkbox with a wah and I have one of the Morley Mini wahs which should fit if I make some room. |
