I love the Bunny boxes. Are those random old tins you are using? They look like they would be cookie tins from an Easter years ago. |

I think that is pretty much what they are. My mom is a notorious collector/hoarder. I keep finding stashes of stuff like this. Clearly she got these tins for some aspect of an Easter celebration, but it was equally clear when i found them, that she never used them for anything, and that she probably didn't even remember that she had bought them. I like them for pedals because they are really close to that Hammond 1590BB size. I only wish that the tin was thicker on the lids. For them to be gig friendly, i would probably have to reinforce the boxes with moar substantial metal bits. But for protoyping or basement-use boxing, they are swell. I wish i had more of them actually. I love the cutesy bunny wabbit theme though. It just seems so "Watership Down" to me.

My grandmother is also a notorious hoarder, and a big crafts lady. That is most likely why I picked them out, I see the same things laying around her house come every holiday. She is big into recycling crafts for use in holiday decor. You should start a line of Brian Jacques pedals. |

Hmm that is a tough call ... Is is plastic or metal? I am silently praying to the great BELT that it is a Betamax tape. I have no logical reason to think it is a Betamax tape, but since when has logic ever stopped me? |

Heehee. ![]() Another hint. The back is just a bit of ghetto sheetmetal thing (actually cut out of the top of an old VCR with tinsnips for the purpose ) to replace the old back, which didn't work quite right for using it as a pedal. The screws, and their locations, are original though.

INDEED. IIRC, it was an old Maxtor that shat out on me years ago. Most HDDs have really fucked up shapes inside, but this particular one is almost exactly like a normal Hammond pedal enclosure.

I always liked the subtle "fucked up teddy bear face" look this pedal had with this knob selection:
