UPDATE


A Canadian dealer for Avant mics was blowing them out, so I called him up and now I can haz. He thought he had enough tom mics for me but it turns out he only had one left. Nevertheless I went over there, and for $190 I got an Avant 'Mondo' kick mic, their snare dynamic and the one tom mic... plus more tom mounts and those springy suspension mounts for LDCs (as opposed to the not-so-cool mount my AT2020 comes with). So all I need is another mic stand or two and another AT2020 and I'm off!

I'd rather have a bunch of these tom mics, and maybe I can hunt them down later, but for now it will suffice to use a 57 and 58 on the rack toms (since they ought to sound the same) and the Avant tom mic on the floor (since it doesn't necessarily have to sound so much the same).
