I just need something to record vocals and guitar and whatever else. My god damned 2 channel interface won't work with windows 7 and there's no way I'm transporting my profire on an airplane.

I heard a guy at the local music shop say he liked the Blue Ball USB mics, but other than that I really have no experience with them.

Maybe look into one of those single channel usb thingamabobs, like the Blue Icicle or Shure X2U?

That way you could use it with any mics you already had. The Icicle is only like $60 new or something too.

Hm might be a good idea. But then I'd have to bring mics down here :poop:

Living in a dorm blows.

I have the E-MU 0404. I tried downloading the drivers for it on my laptop but they wouldn't work and their page says they don't have windows 7 compatible drivers right now :idk:

I can't even get that far. When I try to install the drivers it says no registered device is detected. Doesn't matter if my interface is plugged in or not.

Yeah itunes not working was because of the sample issue. Fuck nowhere here can fix the headphones so I have to get an adapter to use my headphones :poop:

This can be so aggravating sometimes.
