 If your not going to fucking send me the fucking set list... ...fucking tell me during band practice so I can fucking write it down to make sure I don't forget to practice any of the fucking songs. Update: the learn 25 songs in a week gig was canceled cuz they found someone who already knew half the songs. The pro-bono childrens hotel gig thing is still on for today @ 2pm BUT I DON'T FUCKING HAVE A SET LIST. Band leader promised to send me the set list LAST Sunday before 10pm. I bugged him Wednesday about it, and Thursday about it, and Friday about it... and now its Saturday 3:26 am and I don't know what songs I'm playing later today. If I would have known that he wasn't going to send me the songs I would have written them down on Sunday at the end of band practice. I think I'm going to quite my band soon

Re: If your not going to fucking send me the fucking set lis So it was an outdoor gig infront of a pool and our space to set up was a small rectangular gazeebo thingy... went about as expected... the songs i knew came out fine and the songs I had "forgotten" to practice because i didn't get a fucking set list where either ok or trainwreck. I had teh toanz

Helpful hint: we rehearse twice a week unless something comes up. Two weeks or so before any gig every rehearsal includes the entire setlist, in order, in its entirety. Then we go over any trouble spots- usually intros or endings. Detail shit. We have found this very effective.

Re: If your not going to fucking send me the fucking set lis We rehearse once a week which to me is fine as all we are really doing is playing shitty pop/radio rock songs. I would be fine if we just kept track of all the songs we know. I think I'm going to just take charge of that next weekend.
