Seriously. Why does this program exist?

Kind of like minesweeper on hard. It seems like in a decent amount of the games, you just get to a point where you literally have to guess. Sometimes it's down to 4 squares and two bombs, and they can be arranged in two different ways.

After further thought, i think the next Service Pack should definitely include MS Russian Roulette. It fits so well with the rest of the entertainment suite.

Except for the fucking Pinball game. But then, you cannot tell me that that one was programmed by Microsoft employee anyhow. There is just no way.

This happens about one out of eight or so games on average on the easy mode too. Minesweeper Easy Mode is like a tea timer for me. Play twenty games, tea is brewed.

MS games can pass the time at work. I think that's the only reason they are included. Of course the built in easter egg flight sim in excel was kinda cool.

I used to play it a fucking ton.
I usually only play it manically depressed, becoming obsessed with winning the game.

Which is a terrible cycle, because (with the three card deal) the game is literally mathematically guaranteed to make you lose between 90% and 95% of the time.

Which really makes it a fantastic choice for the cubicle dwelling crowd that play it most often. They have already given up hope. They have resigned themselves to receiving the random abuse of fate without being able to fight back with anything but drone persistence. For them, why should a 'game' be any different?
