Also, Mr. Sarcasm: do you have the Sisters reissues that came out a couple years back? For once, not a hack loudermaking distortoblasting remastering job. FALAA sounds sooooo much cleaner; the mix is from the original vinyl version, not the '90s US CD release. Also, it has all the B-Sides. On The Wire and Poison Door and Long Train are    if you're not familiar. As good as any of the regular album tracks. I like having them in one place versus scattered about dodgy ripped-from-vinyl copies. The extended version of Never Land on Floodland and the alternate mix of When You Don't See Me (more synths!) on Vision Thing are excellent.

I have not! I only have the original issues kicking about. It sounds I'll have to seek these out.

It is my duty as a metalhead to listen to Pantera for the next 22 hours.

Yes. First And Last And Always most of all. Because it's better this way. The others, really, for the B-sides/alternate mixes, which are good. Not that the FALAA B-sides aren't ab-fab, because they are.

Forgot to post it before, but I've been listening to this for a couple of weeks thanks to Devin.
It's really very great.
Pretty cool that Danger Mouse produced Tighten Up.

That is bast.

Floodland and Vision Thing, really, yer just wanting the B-Sides, as the album mixes aren't any different. FALAA is a serious improvement though.

I have the B-Sides. :poke:

What is it about Flood I? That should not translate at all live. I thought it was un-do-able for years until I heard it bootleged and then saw it. But it does/did. It's an open A powerchord or someshit, with a wall of synth and a drum loop. Totally unspecial.

I have rehearsal with my reformed Dead Leaves In Fall Saturday. I'd love to do Colours. That would be epic brutal.

I am ordering the Warwick 5 and tuning F#BEAD for that band. Not that I have a problem with drop E either.... That and a couple Novations in front of me, we won't be lacking for low end. My guitarist has an 8 string now. Low End Like A Rap Record.

After downloading their old shit I think they really are. They combine the guttural br00tz and psychedelia in a way many have aspired and failed to. That shit is from 1993... way ahead of its time.

If that's not enough they regrouped in 2008 and the music they are making now is fucking HOLY BALLS.

Ohh, the new stuff sounds cool!

Reminds me a bit of Today Is The Day, in execution and random production bits...
