I'm pretty surprised with how it feels and responds. They keys are essentially space bars, but the velocity response has different curves you can set, and the pitch up and down buttons respond nicely.

I haven't had a chance to hook it up to the included synth software yet, that is what I'm excited for.

Honestly, I am pretty interested to see this software.

I am a total hack on piano, but this seems like it could do some fun sound mangling goodness that my music has been needing. I just hate programming all that stuff, so this gives me an actual interface to track it live.

As someone who doesn't actually have any facility with a piano, one of those would do me just fine.

No maybe 1/4 - 1/3 in size of a keyboard. Not large at all.

I wish I could use it but my home computer got teh blue screen of death popping on me. I think it is time to start computer shopping. It is :huzzah: cause Ill get a new PC, but  because I have to spend the cash.

Yeah the keyboards on those 13.1" Macbooks (my last computer) are also pretty tiny.

Aye, my older sister and her husband have one. It is about as small as i can go before the point where i wouldn't be able to use the thing every day.

They are somewhat deceivingly small.

At first you think, "Ok this is usable." Then, some keys are only half the size of the standard keyboards and you start overshooting keys.

Loved the size of that computer though. Small and easy to carry without having to cram the screen to your face to make use of it.

My current laptop is like that kind of. It is like *almost* normal sized keys, but they have changed the shape and position of a couple so that they could fit a full numpad on it too. I am a shitty and slow typer anyhow, so it doesn't phase me much. I basically have to stare at the keys as i type. Totally should have taken a typing course back in the old days. Too late now, too many bad habits.

On the upside, it means that i adapt quickly to deviations from the 'classic' keyboard layout/format? :idk:

:red:

Actually, unless i am travelling, i don't use that keyboard anyhoo. I prefer to sit further away from the screen, so i have a normal fullsize wireless keyboard on a desk in front of the laptop. :red:

I do that when I have to write on laptop.

Years of PC gaming and crammed writing sessions have definitely helped me develop my typing skills.

I dont even look down anymore, except when I have to use apostrophes. They always fuck up my flow, and thus I usually tend to leave them out of informal typing because I DGAF.

I haven't looked at my keyboard in years.

Now I think it would be a good idea to clean it, since it's covered in black disgustingness.

Thanks, assholes.

My Macbook Pro's keyboard looks like hell. I'm missing two keys from when I spilled an iced tea into the thing, too.

That Korg whatnot looks a-door-able. I kinda want one just to throw in my laptop bag.
