Yarr, when this popped up a while ago, i sped it back up to check it, and it is totally the Bieber song. Sounds like fricken Sigur Ros.

I don't know if that makes Justin Bieber any better, or if it merely reinforces my initial response (i kind of like a little more now) to Sigur Ros.

It doesn't make beiber better, at all. Listen to the other 800% slower videos by other artists.

I used to make this sort of thing all the time by slowing shit down a ton. Not everything responds that well to slowing down. Almost everything sounds cool, but only certain stuff sounds more like "cool on purpose". Usually it just sounds like some crazy sort of ambient thunderstorm new age clock radio sleep aid shit.

The Beiber track is actually better than most of the other slowed-down ones, for sounding more like it was meant to be that way.

Still pretty fucking boring(like most of Sigur Ros also ) but even still...

My friend bowed some cymbals and slowed them down. It sounded fucking eerie... also, fucking cool.



It also sounds beefy as hell if you pitch shift it down one and a half steps. Like without slowing it.
