Played at a house party last night. Had an awesome drummer who loved dance beats, and that just so happens to be my favorite thing when I play bass

Many booties where shook, many drink imbibed. I didn't make it home until 2:00am and was up at it for class at 10:45am.

I now have two prospective bands (there were like 9 musicians there switching off) and a potential steady gig at a local bar-that-mimics-house-parties type situation evidently.

Also, everyone there was interested in doing some basic recording stuff for shits and giggles, and I would like experience in recording stuff ... so yeah looks like I have more mics to buy

I've been brewing this dandelion wine for like a month. I bottled it this evening. And I drank a tall glass of it just now whilst working on tracks. I am drunk, and don't feel like I'm going to die. But damn, this shit is nasty. Sickly sweet still. I'm supposed to age it until Christmas or something, so hopefully the rest won't be this bad by then.

ugh, I can't do the sweet drunks. yeeeech. I do like the homemade booze though. A+ for the effort!

What Geoff really needs to do is throw some random fruit in a plastic bag and stash it in the toilet tank for a good long while, proper prison hooch style, and poast about the results.

I totally cut my coffee intake in half, and i totally haven't been wanting to wake up in the morning any more. Also: crazy fucked up dreams popped out of nowhere.

Takeaway: i was drinking too much delicious coffee and it was messing with my sleep cycles, fo sho.

If only i could be both productive, AND well-rested, plus the superbonusround of crzy dreams. That would be something.

i'm trying to write some songs so i can record a bit of a demo over summer... but every time i listen to tame impala, it discourages me because their songs are so good....

I are discomfort. The walk from the bus stop at the corner to the door of werk left me with my clothes and shoes soaked through. My poor umbrella was useless against them. At least I am (planning on) leaving early.

I start my week or more of gigs, actually 8 gigs in 11 days, plus an added trip to D.C. on Son'sDay to help my chick's sister move up here with us. Then my all time high on 7/9 I have 3 gigs that day......
