I kept my hair and I kept my looks, but unless the lighting in the bathroom is off my roots are grey now, of a muchliness. not well enough. It was a little grainy. Gordon ramsay said 4 minutes, i put it on for 6, but my water wasnt hot enough - it stopped boiling when the broccolis went in, which isnt supposed to happen. Its supposed to be VERY fast and VERY hot to maintain the colour and flavor, whilst softening the broccoliz.

Tasted pretty damn good though. Im going to try it again with hotter water... like boil it on full heat for a good 5 minutes to make sure its like lava.

I approve of such a soup that is that green. In a purple bowl would make my day.


Last night was gig 3/12 in 15 days, but there's actually going to be a rest, we decided to cancel one gig as it is not going to pay well enough. Of course that's one of those days that I have 2 gigs in a day so I am down to 11 gigs in 15 days. Next gig Thursday...

and i MUST say. Its a WD tb greenie drive, the slow one, and it writes just as fast as my normal speed 1tb drive. And it doesnt click when it starts up.

I think im going to ditch my seagates and get more WD's

I bought 3 WD Caviar Greens. One failed every diagnostic test I threw at it, the other one wouldn't even start up. The third one is slow as shit compared to my slightly more expensive Seagate Barracuda. Me not pleased.

I had a bad feeling about those Green drives.

I dont torture test my drives, and dont expect them to die like that. And this one is faster than my 1tb seagate barracuda that has already failed and been RMA'd once, the that clicks and hangs every time it starts up. H8 SEAG8

I put on a wierd partition style meant for high capacity drives, and wrote it with the biggest allocation size possible. I expect it to last until i fill it up allll the way. Or, at least until next week after i reformat

But in all seriousness, i DO expect this thing to catastrophically fail after a perfect 12 months. I just need it to back up ALL of my shit because im going to be reformatting next week when i get my new motherboard.



me too, but then i did some deeper research and found they don't really fail under regular use. IF this one lasts a while, i'll probably RAID 10 the bitch. Gets me 4 of em, have 4 tb of striped storage with 4tb of striped and mirrored backup. Aww yeah.

Mine were 500 gig drives. The one that wouldn't boot wouldn't boot on the first try... the other one was acting buggy so i torture tested it and it failed miserably. I mean that's pretty pathetic for brand new drives.
