I write random stupid little songbits for various things and sing them to myself. Most of mine sound like either showtunes or death metal. They tend to be about mundane things- the cat, making sammiches, all my clients can fuck the fuck off- or bizzare randomthings, like australopithicines.

I'd say a solid 30% of what I say everyday is sang to a whimsical tune or rapped gangsta style.

I also yell at my phone almost every time it rings, as if I could silence it with an angry song.

The amount of stupid shit I sing is stupidly stupid. Especially when I am loopy like I was today, sometimes it's anecdotal narration of the noodles I am cooking or I am singing about how shitty this city is.

I sing I'm Frank Sinatra when I'm home alone sometimes.

I think some day I should sing all my lines, full on operatic recitative. And if I'm doing recitative I should have at least one aria. Maybe two. About why your proofs look like shit because your customer's artwork sucks, or why the computer network is fucked up.
