Just had this on a different forum I frequent and thought it was a pretty good idea :red:

I can't be sure but I remember listening to this via cd walkman a lot on the bus to school :red:

Thrash metal up yer ass. Now, I'd discovered Ministry, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, The Sisters, Bauhaus, Joy Division etc. at that point and even normal kids had Downward Spiral and Astro-Creep. But yeah, Master Of Puppets. Total nostalgia trip for the once a year I'll put it on or something but I think it holds up for what it is. I can still play a good chunk of it from memory too. :lol:

hmmm that's going back a while. I'm thinking of the 4 of my favs at that time, (Blizzard of Ozz, Back In Black, Heaven and Hell and On Through the Night) the one I played the shit out of was Heaven and Hell, great tour also.

Toxicity wasn't my favourite but it definitely was up there when I was 16 :red: I didn't really get into Deftones til a couple of years ago :o

god. had to be bauhaus 79-83, mebbe this cassette of the who's final tour playing in toronto, led zeppelin iii, or everything went black. maybe also public image limited's generic record.

Probably Rust in Peace. Or Painkiller. Or Powerslave. Or Night of the Stormrider. (I would say Master of Puppets, but I think I was in my brief anti-Metallica phase at 16.)
