I want to get myself a nice touring bike for hitting up distance with.

I'd considered something I could tour on but I dunno if I'd enjoy touring. I get a bit bored on road rides over 30 miles I have a nice 26 mile loop that's good for fitness.

My mtb has only been ridden about 3 times since I got back from Canada, it just doesn't seem worth the drive to the half decent trails any more I'm probably gonna downsize to a hardtail again, no need for a full sus around these parts and it's not as exciting to ride. I just need a bmx (we have loads of decent skateparks round here) and my bike stable will be complete

One of my hard drives gave me a warning state in WD Diagnostics, so I'm running full diagnostics on that drive. Cable test passed so I'm very concerned for the integrity of the drive as it is my backup drive and has fucking everything on it.

Yeah I don't think I'll be doing massive distance regularly but I'd like to be able to go out for riding weekends so a decent tourer would be good. I'll see what CRC are chucking out in their sale first though

Just found out that the support bands for Mastodon in February are Red Fang and Dillinger Escape Plan I'm actually more excited for those than the main act

Red fang are also doing a mini tour after roadburn this year so I'm off to that. Mastodon are having no more of my money after the last two hunks of shit they churned out.

How is biology class in your school? More like a sermon?

All the classes are pretty good, it's like every other science program that i've been in, in the south.
They believe that the earth is older than 6k years and that evolution is real, just that it was thought of by god.

We are required to attend a 1 hour worship class/auditorium thing every week for our first 2 years though.
and take 3 religion classes, which are actually easy and cover mostly eastern religions.
