 Dumb purchase For reasons best left unsaid I have gassed for a pair of cowboy boots for some time. I know its not a good look and that it probably outs me in some dubious circles but goddamn I'd like to rock a pair some days  so, good people of maps, talk me into or out of a dumb purchase.

Re: Dumb purchase Camo shorts and cowboy boots would be... Incongruous. Combat boots or Docs? That's standard-issue stuff. Cowboy boots?  Worth at least a double-take. The brown or black ankle ones are way more classy. But would also look silly with camo shorts, in the same way dress shoes would look silly with camo shorts. Extra points for urban or "digital" camo.
