'bout twelve years ago or so. Long enough ago that I actually have been able to get kinda good in that time. My belovéd Strat has been with me most of that time. It's my first nice guitar and the one thing I've kept the whole time.

I fucking hate my Strat.
It's not really a Strat, per se, it's gotta Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge. Nonetheless, I hate playing that goddamn thing. The neck is too big for my little hands.
But my Mustang is going to stay with me forever without a doubt.

I too am not all that happy with my own voice.
While I have a great voice for radio or phone secks. That doesn't always translate over the mic too well for a song. Yes I can sound like some Gahan or Nick Cave stuff. but they are already mildly more well known that myself.
I have been singing a shitton lately so my voice is getting more work now and much more used to it, which always makes one a better singer and more comfortable with hearing it.
