Zing.
You, sir, are a right bastard. I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Besides, we all know brains are highly overrated anyhow. The ancient Egyptians couldn't even be arsed to preserve them, and they kept the intestines, which have their own deity to watch over them for all eternity. That would be this guy, Qebehsenuef:

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
So, we went to czech out a rehearsal space for the band I occasionally bass in (as in, when it exists, I am the bassist). Said band will be sharing a couple rooms with some guys we know; bassist for said band was the bassist in my old female-fronted gothmetal band for a while. There's a hardcore band across the hall that the guitarist just recorded an EP for. Far as I know that's the extent of who's in there at the moment. The building it's in used to be a school, I believe, and we have access to the basement. Dude, epic reverb in that basement. And the rooms sound good, too. There's this one that's an open area in the middle of about a hundred feet- more than, I think- of hallway. 'Bout a four-second decay all up in that. Whole bunch of interesting acoustic spaces. We are so recording in there. I don't care what we record, either.

I am now sunburnt to the degree that it absolutely cannot be healthy.
I look rather as one who has just been pulled from a burning house or car, actually.
You win this round, Evil Eye.

That is what you get for being out in daylight. It's not good for you. And you can kiss a proper consumptive pallor goodbye.
You should probably take some laudanum.

Seriously. Shit is ridiculous. To add insult to injury, i managed to step barefoot on a red hot coal ember that was attempting to jump the fence as it were, and thereby make rapid its escape from the BBQ grillprison. That shit was comfortable like a motherfucker let me tell you.
I am pretty sure this is all punishment for shaving my amazing facehairs off, actually.
Haven't drank in about 2 and a half weeks and this is 10.5% beer so its hitting pretty fast. Has a really good taste to it too.
Shaving your facial hair always seems to bring some sort of bad luck. It's like a higher power is punishing you for becoming slightly more effeminate.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Just went for a run for the first time in about a month, feels good man. Only did about 3 miles in half hour so more of a jog I suppose, but it felt good and I've kinda got the hang of ignoring the pain/lack of breath and kept on running for the whole lot. Will try to do one of these a week to mix it up with the cycling a bit.
Got ridiculously fucked up last night. Had 4 beers after that first one. All of them were pretty strong too. Killer headache, cant find my phone. Made this car last night in Forza though LOL.

The guy from the place with the thing. The one with the stuff.

I bet it does. Sometimes, as a person who runs occasionally, it feels really good to run. But typically at inopportune times. On a treadmill? Usually not. Out there? Not really ever. In the middle of Costco? SET ME LOOSE.
My god. Fucking storm of doom. Power's been out since Friday, water was out from Friday until Sunday, and my friends and I just got done slicing a huge ass oak tree off the hood of my truck.
GM products, interior quality aside, are fucking TOUGH. Thing barely looks different, except there's a couple extra strange dents and the windshield is FUBAR. I just drove it to buy some whiskey to celebrate the magical powers of electricity.

Yes, to motherfucking SCIENCE!
Science makes all our lives worth living. Worship it!
Last night I recorded a pipa (chinese stringed instrument) and flamenco/classical (girlfriend's dad) guitar duo in this big event hall with fantastic acoustics. We used a pair of SM81s in an ORTF stereo arrangement. It sounds gorgeous... so much ambience... hopefully clips will arise sooner or later.
There it is. Headphones if you listen... dig the natural stereo spread and ambience! Lovin' it. The pipa does overpower the guitar a bit though.
