I'm fairly certain you know you need a printing press.

I used to work for a very nice old man who had a functional old-timey print shop inside his otherwise very modern printing company. One could come in and use it. Now he sits on the board of a local arts organization that houses his functional printing museum. Various artpersons and writers print things there and have them perusable (and available) in a little gallery near the large downtown library. I thought of doing something for my band there- because it would be awesome- but our aesthetic is too dystopian-futurist, I think. If my solo project sees the light of day, that, now, might work.

In troof, in the maybe-not-quite-so-distant apocalyptic future, we could well be right back to mechanical devices and hand cranked presses. So in a way, a proper oldetimey printing press might very well be a truly futurist choice. :red:

Hand-cut type is just so badass. On the corset ad, the huge N, the off-kilter (prolly upside-down?) small S. The generally amazing edges on everything. You can't fake it, the process by which heavy things are colored and then smashed into paper.

Interestingly, i see a very clear Krampus, w/ switch, walking left, perched above the ovaries. It is as clear as if photoschnapped.

I screwed up the eyes/expression/face(the original image is far superior) with my sloppy too-fast trace, but, like this:

So TIL: Fruitfly uteri are actually tiny Krampuses.

The squashed bit of box makes that. The robot is quality on its own, but that is the icing on the cake, the push over the cliff into glory.
