POLL: Queen Elizabeth I vs. Pope Sixtus V.
Two mortal enemies. Which one looks sillier?
In this corner, an unflattering portrait of my personal favorite English monarch:

Is she wearing a shower curtain for a dress? Are those thin, membranous wings, as if she's some sort of giant fly? Also, bowling shoes.
And are those gloves in her right hand, or is that a Hand Of Glory, severed from the corpse of a hanged man and mummified as a good luck charm for thieves and burglars? I'm really hoping it's the latter.
And in this corner, her Catholic nemesis, Pope Sixtus V (we'll ignore the obvious discrepancy with his name):

I realize any 16th century monarch is a tough act to follow, but it appears while Elizabeth took Grandma's shower curtain, Sixtus made off with her tablecloth for a cape, complete with tassels. And not only is he wearing a tuque, it appears he's stuck some sort of large Christmas decoration on it as some sort of makeshift crown. Also, bowling shoes.
