Probably not difficult depending on the shop. Worst comes to worst there is always the intarwubs (which may be our best option depending on price).

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
I have come to the conclusion on what the tracklist will be for this EP. I've many, many songs in multiple stages of completion, a lot of which haven't have even begun record yet. But of the 10 or so I've got in the computer with some structure, I've settled on 5. I am humoring myself with the idea of a small 7" vinyl run.. The songs/their lengths would fit. It would be: Side A - 1. Minus The Laugh Track - 1:55 2. The Wonders Of Science In Modern Life - 2:09 Side B - 1. Untitled Quick Punk Song - 1:39 2. Untitled Mandolin Song 1:26 3. Upper Class Cruster's Revenge :57 Granted, I feel I've gotta finish tracking the sucker before I leave for Alaska so mastering can be going on while I am gone.. That gives me a little over a couple weeks. Most songs are pretty much done besides bass on a couple, vocals on a couple in spots and a few embellishments I am working on.. No work tomorrow, so I attack some vocals and guitars. I've even got some schnazzy art in the works provided by a homie:

Gnawbacca.
And huzzah, my pusherman finally hit me up this morning. I forgot to mention that most weed in Brazil is not good. It's actually surprisingly (read: suspiciously) strong for how not good it is, but it definitely doesn't look like the higher quality stuff you get up in the states. Also, I thought I could roll a good joint quickly, but my brother-in-law puts me and other holy-rollers to shame. Seriously nice j's in almost no time.

That is indeed Chewbacca, on acid, eating himself. Band's called Charleston Chewbacca, Davey thought up the concept for the art, I wholeheartedly approved. He knocked that shiz out with like, 3 hours or so of work put in including revisions. We are throwing around the idea of turning the things on his bandolier into either chocolate or possibly condoms.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
finally got my Raspberry Pi up and running with XBMC on it. It's an awesome little device to set up as a media centre. I just need some kind of small keyboard with a mousepad on it that I can use for controlling it, or some kind of remote.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
I'm actually considering doing the exact same thing for our house. Edit: More accurately, my goal is to run an ext. 3.5" powered HDD into one of the USB ports (I would snag the model B with the 2 USB ports and 512 Ram), run a combined keyboard-mouse/touchpad into the other. Then boot off the SD card, and connect it to my network. Then it would basically act as the HUB for our home network storage, that we could then run via HDMI into our big TV so it can also be used as a HTPC. So basically, it can be a shared network storage dump that can play video to our TV.

Yep I think that'd work, think XBMC/Raspbmc can actually do networky stuff if you want it to. All I'm using it for at the minute is to play films off my external HD, can't really be bothered with networking.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
I want to attach it to a big ass HD, then use it to dump all my coding and music projects as well as the wife's Graphic work. Basically just a second backup drive, though I am thinking of trying to run "MAYBE build" a personal cloud storage-esque program so we can dump to it remotely. Basically DropBox, but I think if I went with DB I'd have to run the program off another computer located in the house and constantly connected to the internet (not great) and then just target a folder in the RPi's HDD.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Brain and face still thoroughly melting, this stuff makes my any sort of electronic intricate light emitting dealer good times. Goddamn, M*A*S*H* is such a solid television show. I try to minimize watching that sorta shiz to watching movies or cinema like shows but fuck, what a classic buncha dudes Alan Alda & Co. are. What a gnarly place that must have been then, I know Mike's been where they filmed it doing mischievous stuff with his friends and their firearms.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Did a gig with my old cover band last night. Still can't tell whether I enjoy playing live or not. Always seem to get such a greater satisfaction out of recording stuff and getting it sounding as good as I can with my limited skills. Maybe it's just the places I've played at or the songs we play though Always imagine originals would be more fun. Speaking of which last night I saw a mate from uni who I hadn't seen for a bout 3 years and we talked about getting a punk rock band going It's awesome when you see someone you haven't seen for ages then get on just as well as though you'd never had that 3 year gap. Good fucking times

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Not having time to go buy guitar strings is frustrating. I got my laptop, and I'm really happy. I already have Reaper but I haven't installed my interface drivers nor my drum program. I'd try Diablo or Starcraft, but I'm currently hammering through Skyrim every chance I get.
