I wound up being up 'til fuckwhatever in the afternoon and texting people to make sure I didn't have rehearsal today. So yeah, everyone took it in the today.

Re: punching stuff, I remember Ms. D putting her fist through a mirror and a wall in the ladies' room of the ol' goth club we used to hang at, and my ex putting a damn good dent in a refrigerator door, among other things. I know my housemate has had to patch some drywall, too... Suffice to say I've seen some beautiful women with exquisite tastes haul off and fuck something up more than once.

I have seen some ladies do some pretty br00tzy stuff in my day, as well. Some pretty youngish girls at that that would definitely surprise you, for sure.

I have claimed many mirrors/glass and a stainless steel fridge door (there are two nice little dents next to one another) in this house over the course of my life. Also, cheapo thin doors are pretty easy to fuck up. We've only got a few of those though. The other ones, they just fucked up your hands. It is really kind of a shithead habit to have.

In a turn of life direction, I have passed my driving test, in the snow no less.

I do not have a Youtube account and never have because I do not upload things there and don't feel the need to comment on what I watch. There's a band one but I forget the password and the email address because I don't maintain the bandstuff; our drummer does.

There's something seriously irrational about the notion nudity (we are all naked under our clothes, after all) or sex is somehow obscene while causing grievous bodily harm to another human being is not obscene. Fucking is totally unacceptable. Killing, perfectly fine. I am fairly certain we are all here as a result of the former.

I'm also fairly certain pretty well everyone old enough to figure it out has had a wank or two in their lives. Sinners, the whole lot of ye. Incidentally, my female friends (having been decided an Honorary Female at 15, I have quite a lot; maybe it was the eyeliner... ) have always been much more open about how often and how they engage in that particular activity, which is quite a lot, still, to the point I find it surprising. All the single ladies, as it were...

I'm not sure what preventing potential incitement to do a harmless thing everyone regardless of gender or orientation has done and may in fact continue to do accomplishes, but doggoneit, we've done it.

That also reminds me I need to have something done to mine as it's been some months and at this point it's shoulder-length metaller looking again. The older I get the more I find myself wanting to keep it at an awkward length that requires regular maintenance.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

It seems I have become the most pissy little 7 year old girl since they done cut my wings. It's so cold, and I don't look even close to as unapproachable as I would like to be. And the haircut I got is so fucked up, shit is like village idiot style because of an odd (and in retrospect, avoidable in so manymanymany ways) turn of events involving a clearly unskilled and enthusiastic barber, a broken barber's chair facing away from the mirror and a lack of corrective contact lenses on my part. Explained to this motherfucker what was to be done, even provided photographical reference. Holyshitbowlcutwtfishappening somehow ensued. By the time I got another close up look in the mirror at what he had done as he was just about finishing, I was like, OH FUCK. WHAT.

So now, I have to shave my fucking head. It is going to be so cold in Alaska, I lost a lot of my beard too. Oh, and uh, to tell a story backwards: I finally got caught going to work high, so my folks made me cut my hair. Basically, I am a reckless fucking moron.

Time to rock a toque. That's what we call them here. They sure are comfy on the noggin'.

I have an assortment of pieces of headwear, that is no worry. They are not good for wearing with headphones though, which I am always wearing when I am mixing/tracking and usually I have them on for hearing protection when banging dem drums.

When it's called a beanie for some reason I envision them worn on the tip of one's cranium to display kyoot bangs. This is what the hip white kids do, and call it a beanie, which might be construed as a racial slur towards the hispanic crowd?

You know what's the worst? Those guys who get big ass awesome headphones that are meant to grip their craniums tightly... and listen to them through their toque.

That'd be just how I wear mine, ky00t bangs and all.

And yup, shit's no good. Though, all they want to hear is bass most the time, so it's win/win.
