We were offered a shot at a Hiwatt endorsement. Will it happen? Almost certainly not, but... I do have to admit, that's pretty cool.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Suddenly very very sick. I think I have been exposed to far too many evil fumes over consecutive days, over consecutive weeks. Basically this project is literally trying to kill me.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Ironwood? My fuck, someone made a guitar out of that? I don't doubt it though; there's something to be said for a good, solid slab. (My apologies to James T. Kirk.) Oddly, a pine Tele works too, go figure. What I wouldn't give for a hand phaser, or a good, solid club.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
hmm so my left thumb has had a pins-and-needles type numbness all day. Should I be concerned that my thumb is about to fall off? Maybe just slept on it weird but would've thought it'd be gone by now!

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Could be a pinched nerve from fucked up sleep, could be a heart attack. Could also be related to whatever position that arm is in all day, say if you are in front of a computer or something, maybe sort of a like a carpal tunnel sort of repetitive stress thing? Notice anything else fucked up? Shooting pains in weird places, trouble speaking clearly, that sort o' shit? Usually when i wind up doing something strange to myself like that(sleeping or sitting weird and putting a limb or part of one asleep for a bit) in it clears up within an hour max or so after discontinuing the offending position or action. Really depends on what brings it on i would guess though.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
I have eaten about a pound of carrots since i got home from work. I feel like this is too many carrots. But this is what happens when one chooses not to buy any proper junk/snack food. Basically all i have in the house right now are proper dinner type foods that need involved puttings-together to be edible, and basically i just don't feel like foodmaking today. Prolly should head to a food store. But on the other hand, i do still have about four pounds of carrots left...

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
It was old non-chambered LP heavy. Doable, but the guy who owned it has had an LP before, so he's used to it. This is my buddy who pawned his 80's strat with the stock kahler for 200$ in the 12th grade. It was appraised at 2k. I almost dickslapped him. BUt at least he has this sweetie now. bro, carrots are great. But you should make some hummus or babaganoush for it. I myself am currently rising some naan in the fridge, because i didnt properly activate the yeast.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
When I make coleslaw it is about 40% carrots, 55% cabbage, 5% green onions.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Cabbage is not a plant I like to consume, as a consumer of plants. Carrots and green onions are plants I do enjoy consuming. I've always been the person joining bands, not starting bands, and I'm now realizing exactly how much of a bitch it is. And how unhip this damn town can be. If it comes up, I'm tempted to subtract a few years off our ages or evade the question entirely. (People assume I'm still in my 20s and who's looking at the drummer anyhow? Hell, he probably has more contemporary tastes than I do, and we both have our ears to the ground and are not classic rock dinosaurs.)

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Really? Cabbage rules man! The real dense type. Cheap and super healthy. I cut it up real small and put it in stir fries and fried rice. Boil it with my Shin Ramyun noodles. Hell if you just straight boil it, drain it, butter salt and pepper it it is a great side dish.

I enjoy cabbage. It's great for this keto diet on, providing much needed fibres so my poops flow free

Yes been through this, I no longer state my age. The few times I do people are shocked. I act like I am 12 so I figure that shaves a few years off. My pop band had no idea for a long time. It's irrelevant in music to an extent.

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
'zacktly. I realize, in certain contexts from a commercial standpoint... But especially now, and especially being something other than mainstream commercial pop- where the singer is the focus and they can have whoever backing them up; hell, that's expected to be session guys- or hiphop, where again it's focused on the frontperson... You can get away with a lot in a rock band. And we're not that old, and pretty well-preserved. Well, the drummer doesn't have hair, but burly dude with a shaved head and piercings and tattoos... just looks like a rock drummer. And you don't turn down a good drummer, ever.
It's about attitude, not being a set-in-your-ways old bastard, being open to new ideas. If I say "guitarist/keyboardist is in their early 30s and drummer is in his mid-40s" that immediately dates us and people will Assume Things, I feel. And we actually want younger people as they have less to lose and more time on their hands. I do mention we've recorded several records together and have no commitments outside music, which is completely true. We've had a few people who liked the music but it wasn't their thing as players, and a few who we seemed to have a good rapport with but never got back to us. There was a guy I spoke to this morning who seems like a good prospective candidate, who, reading between the lines seems my type of person (read: possibly bitter asshole) and a perfect fit. So we'll see how that pans out. This could take a while. Still...

Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here
Thumb is still a bit numb but if i pinch it the colour returns straight away. Weird. Guess I'll have to consult the doctors if its still happening in a few days Searching the internet (always good for medical advice) seems to suggest possibly carpel tunnel. Aint nobody got time fo' dat!

It's been a while since I have stayed up this late to code. My laptop being broken is a poor excuse to be unproductive when I have this glorious mac sitting here.
