Well, my dad is visiting, and we were in the driveway talking about various unrelated horrors here at trash mountain that are going to need soon-to-immediate addressing. We went back in the house and i heard a odd ringing sound. My dad has that sort of old-timey ring on his phone, so i asked him if his phone was ringing. He went ahead into the kitchen, and just as he was saying that the ringing wasn't his phone, i heard it again, clearly coming from upstairs now.

Hmm, i thought. And so i went upstairs and looked into one of the rooms at the top of the stairs.

And there it was, that i saw, hanging onto the rolled up curtain/blinds, this fucking grey squirrel, just looking at me. Hanging on with three of his/her tiny little squirrel hands, while the fourth hand was poised at the wind chimes that one of my sisters had hung in the window when it was their bedroom, way back in the day.

The fucking thing was playing the chimes on purpose, like, for fun. Like it was fucking neil peart or something.

Basically, i just fucking closed the door so the thing wouldn't have clear access to the rest of the upstairs without chewing through something. So it will have to leave the way it came in today, rather than being stomped to death by me in the lower part of the house, later on.

The fuckers are strange. Like people, in the morning, they wake up and go outside. And then as the sun goes down, they come back in and go to sleep. So mostly, you get these sorts of interactions at both ends of the day. Playing the fucking chimes though, i haven't read anything about that yet. That is some weird ass fusion drummer shit there.

It is a bad scene, but whatev, that is life on trash mountain for you. The removal is going to have to wait a little bit. The upstairs room they got into is one of the more hoarder-y sections of the house, and i am going to have to wait a few weeks for to get a dumpster here in order to properly clear it out so that the squirrel control folks can get in there and into the eaves of the house and clear all of everything out properly. Hopefully the situation doesn't escalate before i get a chance to do all of that properly.

Yeah, I have a shit ton of them here. I had them in the attic and had to doing a bunch of fixin to keep them fuckers out. They pretty much find a hole, move in and don't give fuck all about anything except they think it is now their house.

Yeah, squirrels do tend to act strange in spring. Maybe the mating mood gets them all riled up. Wind chimes though, that is pretty crayy. He's all like 'come to me, into my den, ladies...'

I'm now managing the guitfiddle department at Sam Ash Raleigh. So that's kinda cool I guess.

Yeah it is completely unmixed at this point. An engineer/producer buddy of ours is handling the mastering so I am excited to hear how it turns out.

And yeah, an extra $100 a week plus monthly bonuses based on my department and the stores performance. Not terrible, but I have more responsibilities and I am still a commission-sales-person, so time spent managerializing takes me away from my sales.

Nice to hear some good news all around here, seems we were in a rough spot for a while there. All still alive although some not so active as much, Mike is not here much, well neither am I, but down to only 2 bands so hopefully life will slow down a bit after the bionic implants stop fucking with me.

Been in touch with a singer who was in apparently a large-ish band (not that I've heard of them) who now just wants a nice side project so is interested in doing some vocals over my music, just what I've been after. He kinda sounds like Scott Weiland which is cool so I hope we can work together and get an album going. From his old band he has contacts in America etc for exposure which would be awesome. I need to step up my production game and finally splash out on a decent drum vst if this actually picks up.



Congrats now comes the awful process of waiting for it to complete and the ball ache of dealing with cunty estate agents.
