Post HEY CHRIS.
How easy would it be to build a clean blend into an existing circuit, particularly a printed PCB? Kurt Ballou made a bass specific version of his Brutalist PCB's and I was thinking about ordering one and trying to mod it to have a clean blend option. I think that would likely be a cool pedal.

It is not super tricky. There are even dudes who have made pcbs for it: http://guitarpcb.com/product/buff-n-ble ... y-circuit/

Essentially, it is kind of just like adding a buffer or two as a mixer, so that when the clean signal is split out and sent to the output, it won't reduce the level that the original circuit input sees.

Some circuits it is easier than others.

Hell yeah, thank you dude. Seems like it shouldn't be too scary for me to try to tackle it.

You ever play/make one of those Brutalist Jrs? They're pretty damn sick for a really high gain pedal.

Yeah, i made one of the Ballou business card ones.

Real good sounding distortion, i like how it cleans up with the guitar volume knob too.

It has a near-blattscuzz to it in certain settings. Or it can tighten up a ton and just be a nice-ass highgainer.

The pedal i currently use the most for heavy dirt is a clone of the Ethos TWE-1, but my next up is definitely the Brutalist.
