My lady (graphic design major) enjoys your posters. I showed them to her after she talked shit about some local bands godawful poster at school.

They do tend to go over well. In no small part because even the rough versions such as I just posted don't, well, look anything like typical local show posters. I think all of them have been tweaked and tampered with a fair bit before they went on press- usually I'm doing the final version the night before it gets printed- and I'm not sure I've actually posted a finished one, now that I think about it. They all come out looking nicer in the end.

I do want to tweak the background on that a bit, even just looking at it. There's some cyan and magenta shit going on in there that keeps reminding me I shot the pictures I used to make that with with, well, my phone.

Also, I'm trying- and I hope succeeding- to have a consistent aesthetic with these. I feel it's important from a branding standpoint. You know it's us.

Oh, and we changed the logo, slightly. It is no longer a commercial font but my bastardized version.

Now go get stoned.
