anybody know any good arm/wrist excercises? Constant pain
In the course of the last week, my extensive mouse/keyboard usage has caused my arms to hurt. Constantly. I'm lucky that the pain has not migrated to my carpal tunnel.
Its mostly in the muscles in my upper forearm that flex when i lift my fingers, and the meaty area where my arms sit on my desk. Also, my right hand (mousing hand) is stiff, occasionally buzzy, and my wrist hurts and feels stiff.
To figure out the muscles im mainly talking about, lay your arm flat on a table, press down on the meaty part of your upper forearm just below the elbow, and now lift your fingers of your table arm. You'll feel the sinewy muscle flex.
Anybody know anything i can do to make it stop hurting?

http://www.ergomatters.co.uk/blog/rsi/f ... e-and-rsi/Looks like over use. Stop fapping so much. Seriously, just an over use thing. Try elevating your keyboard enough so your wrists are bent forward (down) instead of up, or elevate your arms so your wrists bend down. It comes from that angle of your wrists always bent back and typing/mousing

Switch to a trackball mouse.

Maybe you spend too much time with your arm in that position. :-?

They really are. I've been using one by Logitech that is controlled by the index & middle finger for a few years now and I will never go back to a regular mouse. It feels utterly accurate and is great for gaming.

I have found a fix... or a few. 1st. Lots of stretching. Feels good man. 2. I keep my phone under my wrist of my mouse hand. That little tad of elevation helps. 3. Pushed everything further back on my desk so i have more surface area for arm resting instead of just keeping them on the edges. there will be no trackball mousing. If anything, i'll get a g700. But srsly, no trackball mousing. I didn't buy a 45$, 10x12" aluminum mouse pad specially designed for laser sensors just to plop a trackball on it.
