That is a fun record though!

The Christian Death remix album with all those industrial bands is pretty damn good. There's a fabulous version of Figurative Theatre on there.

I think it was a worthy contender. The one mix of Sleepwalking on there is pretty sweet. And it was cool to hear those tracks re-purposed. I thought it was respectful and not butchery. Were it a cover album- those are almost always butchery. Actually, they are all butchery, especially all those awful tribute albums on Cleopatra records from the late '90s.

And EZO. Pretty cool eighties Japanese band. The album is all killer, no filler.

Indian Summer discography. Teh bast in noisy, angry music.

I was on a screamy indie rock kick a couple weeks back. I realllly enjoy the old Swing Kids stuff. It is more straight up aggressive than some of the Indian Summer shizz, but IMO it is not dumbed down at all, just pissed off.

Actually, after a short time of liking them a lot, and then many years of being totally burnt out on them, i have also recently decided that i can listen to and enjoy The Locust again, as well.

Another one i enjoy in a similar vein to the Indian Summer/screamy indie rock style, is one that is hard to find, The Candyland Carcrash. They only had a couple of EPs, and they can be difficult to find, even in the modern googlesphere, but they have a sound to them that i really enjoy.
