Re: What Are U Listening To Right Now: Home Surgery Instruct That riff around :30 absolutely kills me.  And yes, they kick ass, they are a big influence on Kaleb and I at the moment. This is more or less what I could hear Godless Killing Machine sounding sort of like in terms of grooves/slams. Kaleb writes very much in this vein of riff-age. Not super tech or flashy, but just solid fucking riffs.

Between Gorguts, Ulcerate, Deathspell, and Portal, there are a few bands pursuing somewhat similar flavors of this avenue of huge dissonant noisemetal. But i would love to see many more enter the fray.
