 Well, this changes the whole goddamn game doesn't it? This is Snaxie's new drum tracking room. Thank you Mr. Stoner Building Manager for graciously letting me use this:   'S an old bank vault turned into a private club. There's a stage that extends way back and a dance floor and whatnot. But we can set up the kit and a fucklot of microfones in there and blast. Aww yeah bitches.

Re: Well, this changes the whole goddamn game doesn't it? EPIC SESSIONS WERE EPIC. THAT ROOM SOUNDS PHENOMENAL. Sitting at the desk in front of the kit, listening, I commented to my other engineer on the session something about how it sounds like room sound in sample libraries from where we're sitting, like this is how a real drum room sounds. I am going home to acquire foodstuffs as I've not eaten all day. You will be seeing session pictures in the near future and hearing completed Garda mixes not too long after.  10 mics. Kick in/out, SDC taped to a dynamic for the snare, LDCs on toms, SDCs for overheads, Mid/Side with a ribbon and an LDC.

The drums on Graphite are pretty apeshit and I think I have a few extra takes of that though; I'll have to see what I've got left after the mixing process. I'll be busy(er) for a bit!
