They are stupidly popular around here, at least in high school when that one album with the trippy ... was it an eyeball? ... cover came out. Everyone was all about that shit.
I classify Tool alongside Incubus as "Bands ruined for me by my high school".

Actually, if my idiot friends in high school had used such colorful language to describe Tool instead of, "they fucking rock," I would probably listen to them a lot more.
