First time trying all these little independent beer shits. I'm going to write this as I drink each beer and try to give a review on it. I suck at describing beer though so bear with me.

1. Hazed and Infused. Tasted fruity. I liked it though.



2. Ruination. This left an AWEFUL taste in my mouth each time I drank it. But this one hit me pretty hard. Granted I've been sober for like almost 2 months now. But this one gets bonus points cause it looks so freaking awesome.




3. Loose Cannon. This is similiar to #1 in taste. I like it. Gonna go play some Black Ops though so I'll take a break from writing this shit up.

Stone Brewery is very much a Californian brewery, in that they make ales with lots of hops (that taste in your mouth) and a high gravity (how drunk you are). I did a tour there. I drank the beer samples for two. I was wasted...

Yeah, they let you pick out whatever beers you wanted and throw em in the box.

Yeah that Ruination hit me hard. It's an acquired taste but I kinda liked it.

ahh some nice hoppy beers you have there. I am a lover of hoppy beers.

The Stone porter kicks ass. I forget the name. I occasionally get it at my gothybar. I think the owner likes the line 'cause it's got devils on it. 'S fabulous shit though.

Git yerself some Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, and if you can get Flying Bison Rusty Chain in your neck of the woods, snag that too. These are the two beers even I will eat without hesitation.

I also enjoy Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA, they have a 90 minute IPA and a 120, but even for me they are hoppy

The 90 Minute may be one of the most delicious beers ever created by man. The 120, was wayyyyy too much of a good thing, and i had trouble finishing them. But the 90, oh boy, i could just huff that stuff.

I really like the combination of heavy hops and powerful beer though. I am odd, i either go straight up lager style like Sapporo or whatever, or i go Pure Hop Violence.

Another one i like, the Scotch Ale. Particularly this shit:



Super rich and violent, almost like the alcohol flavor of the 90 min IPA, minus most of the hops, and then multiplied by some sort of brown ale.

The 90 Min IPA and the Skullsplitter are pretty much my favorite beers ever. They are definitely mean though. Not at all stout-y smooth, or sweet, or any of that sort of thing.

Also: both will mess you up pretty good.
