I have not written shit in a while.

It is disgraceful.

So, I am about to get myself back into it. Have a couple of ideas I want to float out there to see how you guys feel about them, and because I want to.




I am thinking of rewriting my SCIENCE! animated Pilot. Less pull away gag stuff more plot driven comedy. For example, episode 1 would still be about Tesla and Zombie Edison looking to rent a lab-turned-apartment building as a way to lure in unsuspecting test subjects, because they are low on cash. The regular joe (we shall call him Joe for now) gets kicked out of his first place, finds apt., hilarity ensues (at least that is the idea). But, as the B plot I want Zombie Edison to somehow get a voice box implant, so I can write him real dialog instead of just grumbling and screaming. I also think I may have his voice box come from a British guy, because I like fancy British accents.



Another TV pilot, this would be either live action or animated. It would be called "Informative" and would be one of those whacky office place comedies FUCK YOU they are popular and I need a job. Anyway this would focus around a company called "Easy Steps Professional Writing", who write listed instructions, instruction manuals and handbooks for a variety of products and services. Think frozen pizza cooking instructions to TV manuals to shitty company training manuals/handbooks. This is just an idea so not a lot of development yet, but I want to basically have the solid writing and wordplay of Arrested Development and Better Off Ted, but with the loveable/memorable characters of the office. Say what you will, but I know people who were freaking out when "OMG JIM AND PAM IS GETTING MARRIEDS!" It would be nice to have characters people care about.



I'm thinking of writing a Fantasy novel, I have no idea why. I read them for a while growing up, always loved fantasy video games and such so it really makes sense, and I could probably write a pretty good one. Problem is, I have no idea where to start creating an entire new world.



I might become the writing half of a comic strip illustrated by the lady. It would be our first project working together No idea on what direction to go there.



I still want to write the rock opera/story-based concept album, but I want to take it in a new direction. I am just not sure what direction that would be. I just had a random idea though. Now hang with me here, as I literally am coming up with this as I type: The life of some superhero, from the discovery of his powers to his rise to greatness to a tragic death saving the world. I don't want to take it too seriously, but I don't think I want it to be a comedy either. It will be mostly rock based, but will be flexible in genres. Epic metals for the fight and death songs ... you get the idea.








That is all for now, but I am hoping to start working on some of these soon.

I am thinking of taking the writing and development in the direction of an expanded and more thematic Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, but with specific allusions and more variety in the sounds.

An epic instrumental song called, The Final Fantasy.

Electro-pop song called, The Great Pink Ball of Dreamland

If I don't create a sitcom about a Amish man forced to move into a big city to make ends meat...think I am going to make him a cop....horse and buggy patrol vehicle...making bible puns when grabbing the bad guy...anywho if it doesn't happen before I die I have failed at life.

You could probably pitch that to Adult Swim and get a bit of interest.

The SCIENCE! animated series I am developing is being targeted to them.

I have 4 chapters written of a novel I was writing. Murder/mystery with some comic relief in it. A Canadian Mounty moves to NY, he is super klutzy, spilling shit, knocking stuff over, and never cusses. He is partnered up with a Lt Dan type cynical, alcoholic, paraplegic, investigating a murder which has way too many twists, a guy trying to cover his tracks kills more people, and the problem was he actually didn't kill anyone to start with, just a coinkydink. It is complete with Potheads and Trannies.

Working on a song inspired by Kirby's music.

So, I am thinking of using these drums for my Kirby-inspired pop song.

I used the NY Avatar set on SD2.0, pretty stripped down and simple.

There are a couple of issues I am hearing as I listen to it now, but it feels about right as far as tone and attitude. It is supposed to be lighthearted, and a fast driving pace that makes you want to run to the right and not stop. Also you may get hungry.

This is the song (I love this song in all of its happy annoyance) I am working off of.

What i gather from this is: that now you have a computer that can run SD 2.0.

That is excelleswell.

Also: 8 Bit video game scores are way up there with the greatest shit ever.
